I just installed bareos-webui on Ubuntu 14.04.5 LTS. Basically I did dpkg -i bareos-webui_16.2.4-31.1_all.deb and then apt-get -f install. After that I edited the files /etc/bareos/bareos-dir.d/profile/webui-admin.conf and /etc/bareos/bareos-dir.d/console/admin.conf and restarted dir and apache2. Both files are included in bareos-dir.conf and I can login. Oh and in bconsole i issued "configure add console name=admin password=secret profile=webui-admin" Versions bareos-webui_16.2.4-31.1_all.deb bareos-director_16.2.3-1_amd64.deb bareos_16.2.3-1_amd64.deb And so on. Error after login: Error: API 2 not available on director. Please upgrade to version 15.2.2 or greater and/or compile with jansson support. I checked everything using this: https://github.com/bareos/bareos-webui/blob/master/doc/README-INSTALLATION.md .api json gives me api:2 I assume that the problem is different versions? Tried to install the 16.2.4 packages but due to Ubuntu 14.04.5 I run into dependency errors (bareos-database-mysql depends on libmysqlclient20). I would just install bareos-webui 16.2.3 but I couldn't find it. So, before I do a dist-upgrade does anyone have a better idea?
