Hi,

I'm evaluating bareos with a rados backend at the moment. Another requirement I have is a backup solution that enables me to realize a backup completely driven by client side. In that scenario I have a bunch of clients behind hiding NAT (using RFC1918 IP) and the Bareos-SD and -DIR is locates outside of these networks. This means, that the client does not have a unique and reachable IP address I can connect to. Is it possible to set up bareos that way? I read documentation about the "passive" setting, but this seems to be "the other way round". I also find the "connect from client to dir" setting but as I understand I still need an IP address in the client's configuration on the director.

Thank you very much for the great software and any information on this.

best regeards

            Daniel
