Hi I find it difficult to get proper knowledge. In detail, I have read in manual that I shouldn't mix different media types in one pool. I also found information that device is being determined by media type. In my case I have 4 or 5 device definitions per one media type per one directory location. So if I keep one media type per one physical location, it should not be problem to restore files. I would like to know why I shouldn't have different media types in one pool and what happen if I will keep different media types in one pool, especially if try doing migration from that pool.
