Unfortunately, I still have a couple of WinXP clients. Is there a bareos-fd

We have to use 14.2 for those clients. It's been working so far.

I tried the 14.2 client and could not get it to work, most likely because I was not entirely sure how to configure it properly.

I installed the winbareos-16.2.4-postvista client on my WinXP desktops. After some investigation I found, that the post install script is not saving the settings to bareos-fd.conf and bareos-dir.conf.

After hand editing these files to add the correct settings, the 16.2 client successfully connects to the bareos server. I haven't tested whether it will work for backups yet (still learning the configuration), but I am hoping that I will be able to use latest client for my WinXP desktops.
