I'm sorry for resurrecting this thread but can you clarify what was needed to make this work? I monkey patched this for postgres with pg_dump and I am having issues with mine. I saw another stack exchange thread mentioning needing to create a MYSQL directory with bareos: permissions. Did you need to do this?
