Hello list,
i have a Bareos setup here at work which backups everything right now to
a DIY-NAS with an 10TB RAID-1.
That runs pretty well so far, we don´t have any problems so far, Bareos
writes the data via sshfs to the NAS and keeps it for about 60 days i think.
Now we wanna use our "old" tapechanger an HP MSL-2024 to do archive
backups with it. Unfortunately it´s my first setup with a tape writer
and i have no idea how to do it.
My goal is basically to write everything Bareos backed up during a month
on every first of the month to a tape which then goes into our vault.
My question now is how do i configure this in Bareos?
How do i communicate with the tapechanger?
How must i change my config in order to get such an archive job?
What information do you need to help me?
I can provide my config of course if you tell me which part you need.
Bareos itself runs on a VM and is just capable of contacting the
tapechanger via network.
