hello i am new working with bareos and want to test it to see if it will be good to work with it and mange backup our servers or not. I was a bit disappointed that I can’t add client from bareos webui. i start to looking how to add a client and i found that we need to do it from " bconsole " and use this command ( configure add client name=yourname address=yourip password=yourpassword ) from what i understand that mean that bareos server will connect to the client with user name and password but we don't do that on our server we use ssh keys and disabled the passwords. anyone know the command that i can use in my case.
