I have a Gluster cluster that serves volumes to various systems in the network
such as workstations, servers, etc. I'm planning on using Bareos to back the
volumes up with glusterfind on the server using the scripts supplied with
Bareos. I've gone over the Bareos and Gluster docs but still have some
questions so if anyone has done this or can point me in the right direction I'd
appreciate it.

I plan to follow the instructions in this
https://fossies.org/linux/bareos-Release/README.glusterfs. I'll use the Bareos
script for glusterfind and set it to run on the server per the article.

However, do I need to manually create a glusterfind session on the gluster
server? Normally if you use glusterfind stand alone the Gluster docs indicate
you should. Does Bareos still need a session created manually or does that
happen when the scripts run? Neither set of docs are clear on this.

I've installed the necessary files on the Bareos backup server so I assume the
server will run the script on the client (the Gluster server) somehow. How
does Bareos run scrips on the clients - through SSH or does it use some other
means?

Thank you.
