the RC version is available to the public, from the Bareos repositories. I have
Debian and my configuration is as follows:
===================================
/etc/apt/sources.list.d/bareos.list
===================================
## Bareos Repository
## KEY: wget -qO - http://download.bareos.org/bareos/release/latest/Release.key
| apt-key add -
#deb http://download.bareos.org/bareos/release/latest/Debian_9.0 /
deb http://download.bareos.org/bareos/release/18.2/Debian_9.0 /

In my personal case, everything works fine with 18.2-rc2, except that clients
17.2 do not use TLS communication automatically with the director; but the
clients 18.2-rc2 yes.

Regards!
