Did you try Bacula or Bacula Enterprise? Did you use the exact same
configuration for Bacula?
Because I doubt that Bacula will be 5 times faster with the same
configuration.

Do you have accurate enabled?
Can you show your fileset (especially the accurate flags and
wildcard/regexp includes and excludes)
