The bareos user has logins disabled however I would like to be able to login
using bareos. With my editor I can connect from my workstation (Fedora 29) and
remotely edit files on the server.

I tried use my user (myuser) and can connect to the Bareos server but since I'm
not bareos I can't edit the files. If I add myself to the bareos group on the
server I still can't edit the files because for some reason the bareos group
can't edit the files - only the user can since the permissions have the group
set to r-x.

I could change the group permissions I suppose but there must be some reason
bareos doesn't allow that.

I've tried using sudo to allow my user to run ALL commands as bareos with no
password (myuser (bareos) ALL NOPASSWD in the /etc/sudoers.d/myuser file but
that doesn.

The easiest way is to allow bareos to login but will that break something in
Bareos or do they just setup the user with no login just as added security?

Thanks.
