Hi Chad, there are no clues in /var/log/bareos/bareos.log, because I did what M-D-F described in an other post:
# /usr/sbin/bareos-dir -d 500 -u bareos -g bareos which led also to the result: webui accessable and director started the first of in the meantime missed orders.
