This has not yet happened, as our Sphinx Build-Process does not (yet) generate PDFs. There's somebody working on this from time to time, but if you really need it, you could try for yourself. As far as I can tell it should be sufficient to make the build working using sphinx-versions instead of sphinxcontrib-versioning.
According to a Note [1] in their docs, you can just make it generate PDFs with it.
