Hi,

I was able to debug what he was doing while he was not making copies:

[pid 31172]
lstat("/home/gh_2377/.cache/yarn/v4/npm-rxjs-6.3.3-3c6a7fa420e844a81390fb1158a9ec614f4bad55/node_modules/rxjs/_esm2015/internal/operators/skipWhile.js.map",

{st_mode=S_IFREG|0644, st_size=1174, ...}) = 0
[pid 31172]
lstat("/home/gh_2377/.cache/yarn/v4/npm-rxjs-6.3.3-3c6a7fa420e844a81390fb1158a9ec614f4bad55/node_modules/rxjs/_esm2015/internal/operators/repeat.js",

{st_mode=S_IFREG|0644, st_size=1238, ...}) = 0

Why does it do it and how to turn it off?

Best regards
