Hi, I'm a new Bareos user seeking to implement a 3-2-1 backup strategy and I was wondering if the following is possible.
Current Situation : I have two sites, site A and site B connected through VPN. Site A has the Bareos director, storage device that points to disk space ( disk-A-sd ) and a tape device ( tape-A-sd ). Site N has a storage device that points to disk space ( disk-B-sd ). Computers backup to their respective disk storage device (i.e. computers on site A backup to disk-A-sd). 3-2-1: I would like disk storage pools duplicated to the remote site, so the loss of disk storage device doesn't mean I loose local backups. I looked at "copying" jobs to the remote pools, but I'm not sure the copy would be available in the case of the "loss" of a server. The documentation I read says that copies only because restorable when the original job is purged. In addition, I would periodically like to copy full backups to tape drive, as an extra protection to ransomware. In essence, how can I create duplicates of my storage pools and how can I use them in an emergency situation.
