You can query the database for media details. You can get both the used capacity and overall capacity in bytes and blocks but be aware that you need to take into account also the status of the volume. You can only write more jobs to the tape if it's in "Append" status.

example query (using my pool name; chose any columns you want and run it via sqlquery on bconsole):

select
  media.volumename,
  media.mediaid,
  media.volcapacitybytes,
  media.volbytes,
  media.maxvolbytes,
  media.volblocks,
  media.endblock,
  media.volstatus
from
 media join pool
   on media.poolid = pool.poolid
where
  pool.name like 'Offsite%' and media.inchanger=1;
