I’m setting up my first Windows 11 bareos client,

FD works fine, I’m able to check on it’s status from the director, I can
estimate jobs, I can run jobs.

Two issues when I do

status client=win11-fd

I get:

There are WARNINGS for this filedaemon's configuration!
See output of 'bareos-fd -t' for details.

I stop it and try running it manually using

bareos-fd.exe -c C:\ProgramData\Bareos -f -t

and it prints nothing, If I throw on debugging -d 10 I get debugging output
but nothing that gives me an idea what’s wrong.

I did modify the Director configuration. Mostly adding an Address and Client
Connect to Director (client is roaming)

Second issue is I can’t get the tray monitor to show up in the tray.

Interestingly task manager shows it running, no errors in event viewer and from
the Director

status client=win11-fd

Shows

win11-client-mon (director) connected at: 22-Dec-24 23:49

So the FD shows it as connected, task manager shows it running, but nothing in
the tray to actually monitor.

Thanks
