Roman,
Here are a few things that I have:
H. Carlheim (1716?): 8th Ode, first song. I have only the first
verses printed in a history of Swedish music (unfortunately I didn't
write down the source).
Andrées Düben: Ballet réprésenté par ordre de sa Majesté La Reine
Doüairiere (performed on February 6, 1701). I believe this is the
complete printed book. Mostly solo songs in French for various
characters with continuo and ritornelli .
P. P. Hoppe: Siälenes Himla-Lust (1700). Psalm settings with figured
bass.
Andreas Duben: Lefve väl (1704). New year's wish to Karl XII with
Intro and Ritornello for 2 dessus instruments (adaptable to the lute,
I would think). I have only the first verses printed in a history of
Swedish music (unfortunately I didn't write down the source).
Buxtehude: Att du Jesu BuxWV 8 (in Swedish) for soprano, 2 violins
and continuo. I have performed this by playing the 2nd violin part
and bass. This has a 24 measure Symphonia and 7 measure Ritornello --
but it might work with only lute. I don't know the date of this
composition.
How about with connections to his parents?
Gustaf Duben: O Sonne!. Aria for Karl XI's wedding. I have only the
first verses printed in a history of Swedish music (unfortunately I
didn't write down the source).
Klage-Sång...Drottning Ulrica Elonore. (1693). Aria with 4 verses and
figured bass.
The Soldier Remembrancer: Or Valient Charles of Sweeden (sic).
Perhaps this is a bit of a stretch. This British broadside ballad is
undated. Some of the events in the text suggest XII (dying in battle,
fighting the Danes, the Czar, and the Poles), but others seem
incorrect (the text says he was crowned at 19).
Instrumentally, Arto has already suggested Andreas Duben's "Marche
pour les Suedois". and "Menuet Le combat". There are a couple of
"Courante suedoise" settings, I believe (Dufault, for one).

Dear Collective Wisdom,

Any suggestions?
Any karolinian military marches?
Tack så mycket.
