Not sure what authorized could mean with this manuscript. Weiss set his name
to some of the suites, and inferentially, they are autographs. On the other
hand, there are some slightly differing concordances in the London
manuscript where Weiss set his name as well.

Are you referring to the mood / atmosphere / temper? I like this pieces very
much, and I for one usually take it bright (allegro moderato).

Sorry, no pun intended, but what do you mean by musical? -- There's the
opening phrase in measures 1-2, answered in measure 3. The little in-between
in the bass measure 2, beat 2-3, is echoed in measure 4, beat 2-3. And so on
and so forth. I love the climax in measure 20-1, and the imitation in
measures 27 and 29.
