Agreed. Here is what I tried: - 2.6.18 : btool still hangs, but device remains charging - 2.6.17-generic: same as above > - run Windows in a VMWare session to communicate with the Pearl? Actually, this was part of my end goal - trying to throw on the BES stuff for the pearl. Even when linux sees it, vmware has only seen it in mass storage mode. It can't detect it at all otherwise.
