No there is nothing about writing, but reading part looks normail in my 
opinion, but there should propably be blackberry output on the screen similar 
to

but for blackberry contacs.

breset does not help...only disconnecting and connecting again.
I have noticed difference in /proc/bus/usb/devices before and after crash:

T:  Bus=03 Lev=01 Prnt=01 Port=00 Cnt=01 Dev#= 42 Spd=12  MxCh= 0
....................

And after crash:

T:  Bus=03 Lev=01 Prnt=01 Port=00 Cnt=01 Dev#= 45 Spd=12  MxCh= 0
...............
