There seems to be no kernel module berry_charge in 2.6.22? I attempted to manually load this module using modprobe but modprone did not find the module. Perhaps I must reconfigure the kernel.
If udev is stopped usb_storage does not load automatically. I am using my 8100 to write this - the last time I did sourceforge failed to display the message correctly? I am using the Debian rules found in CVS in udev. udev should only be doing the actual running of bcharge. When you plug things in without udev running, does the usb_storage module load automatically? Perhaps there is a race condition in the loading. > Is there something to this? Also check that the new berry_charge kernel module (I think it is in 2.6.22)... if that is loading, it may also be conflicting with bcharge. - Chris ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by DB2 Express Download DB2 Express C - the FREE version of DB2 express and take control of your XML.
