I don't know what's going on with Sourceforge.  Your emails came through
fine on this side, and I looked in my raw mbox file and it was still
plain text, so there shouldn't be any odd MIME conversion issues here.

If you'd like, feel free to open a support ticket with the Sourceforge
folks and have them take a look.  You'd likely be the best person
to resolve this, since you can send tests.
