Unfortunately this experience re-confirms my utter contempt for
automake and the auto tools in general. they never work and never give
you sane error messages; so is anyone able to decipher what its trying
to tell me here when I run builgen.sh?
configure.ac:15: error: possibly undefined macro: AC_PROG_LIBTOOL
If this token and others are legitimate, please use m4_pattern_allow.
