Chris thanks a lot for your help! you nailed it, i got one step closer.
I've added the group(Blackberry) and members(evo2-sync & barry) with
msynctool

However when i try to do a: msynctool -sync Blackberry 

it starts to sync but at the very end i get this strange messages:

Member 2 of type evo2-sync just sent all changes

Changetype ADDED
Received an entry calendar-1610556779 with data of size 4 from member 1.
Changetype ADDED
Received an entry calendar-1610557074 with data of size 4 from member 1.
Changetype ADDED
Received an entry calendar-1610557010 with data of size 4 from member 1.
Changetype ADDED
Received an entry calendar-1610556936 with data of size 4 from member 1.
Changetype ADDED
Member 1 of type barry-sync just sent all changes
All clients sent changes or error
Pipe closed! Exiting.
Segmentation fault (core dumped)

And nothing is synced.

Thank you so much for your help, I just bought my pearl but since im not
able to sync im missing my chunky old Treo 650.
