Modem tethering for USB is in progress in the latest CVS tree. It basically works right now, but could use more testing. Just grab the latest CVS sources, copy one of the sample files from the ppp directory to your /etc/ppp/peers directory (and perhaps a chat script to /etc/chatscripts) and run: pppd call rogers.peer or whatever you called your options file. The pty option in the peer file must point to where you installed Barry's pppob. The tricky stuff seems to be all in the chatscript, and there are various sites around with tips on setting those commands. If you already have it working in Windows, just copy those same AT commands to your chat script. As for Bluetooth, it is my understanding that nothing special is needed to get that working, except the gprs_protocol_fix.c from the XmBlackBerry project. See the README file in that directory. You don't need Barry or XmBlackBerry running for Bluetooth, as I understand it. - Chris ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by: Microsoft Defy all challenges.
