Just thought I'd introduce myself ("Hi!") and say thanks to everyone here
for all the work on barry. Just got my Blackberry 8800 syncing on my 64bit
Kubuntu 8.04 system here. I fought through it a bit, but I got .deb
packages built for it (both 0.12 and the latest CVS), and since barry only
has distributions for 32bit systems, I'd be more than happy to share them
with anyone who'd like them, as well as provide a system to compile the
64bit binaries on and test them if anyone would like.

Secondly, I had the same issue that Pierre Cléaud did in the thread
"Blackberry shuts down during synchronization". I can confirm for Chris
that removing the usb_storage module does stop that crash from happening,
and lets the backup complete. I'm not an expert on USB protocols or
anything, so I can't really even begin to start knowing where to look to
debug it and see if there's a specific packet or message going somewhere
that is causing that reset.

Thanks!

- David
