Good catch.  I should have patched this a while back.
This is indeed still a bug, and your fix is correct.

I've updated CVS to include lines for 8004 product IDs as well.

Does it process half way, and then hang while processing conflicts?

If you set the environment variable OSYNC_TRACE to a directory, opensync
will write logs there during the sync.  Are the logs growing when the
process "runs away"?
