For some reason, Firefox goes into offline mode by default.  I turned off 
offline mode and I can surf now.  Pan doesn't seem to play so well on 
this connection.

Route -n gives this when connected:

My VPN software works at this point and my routes are now updated to 
include all Intranet IPs.

E-mail is slow, but internal chat works well.

I call this a win-win...

BTW, I'm using a Sprint 8830 and Ubuntu Hardy Heron...

I will also be testing FC9 as we have an internal build based on that 
release.
