Hi Bruno, You will need to add the 10-blackberry.rules file to /etc/udev/rules.d and make sure you have bcharge installed under /usr/sbin. Also install the modprobe/blacklist-berry_charge under /etc/modprobe.d. This combination results in: - the blacklist prevents the berry_charge module from interfering with bcharge's operation - bcharge changes the device into charging mode and database mode - the udev rules change the permissions of your device so you can use it as a regular user Normally all of this is handled automatically in the barry-util binary package, but you're compiling from source, so you need to take care of some of these details yourself. Please let me know if you run into further difficulties. - Chris ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by the Moblin Your Move Developer's challenge Build the coolest Linux based applications with Moblin SDK & win great prizes Grand prize is a trip for two to an Open Source event anywhere in the world http://moblin-contest.org/redirect.php?banner_id=100&url=/ _______________________________________________ Barry-devel mailing list Barry-devel@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/barry-devel
