Hi Eneko!

This is a known bug on some of the newer Blackberries. Some databases
have trouble being restored if they are all restored at once. Sometimes
they can be restored one at a time, sometimes not.

Also note that some databases are read only. I believe the Time Zones
database is one of them, as this data normally does not change, at least
not by the user. So when restoring, you'll have to skip these databases.
You can select what databases to restore through the Edit | Config menu.

If you want a "pristine image" backup, I recommend you use the Windows
software to get that first backup. Then only backup and restore databases
that contain data you need. For example, even on devices with this issue,
I find that Address Book and Calendar are reliable for backup and restore.

Basically this needs more reverse engineering of the protocol, but until
I get to it, or someone sends patches, the workaround will have to do. :-)

There is no password in the backup data in cleartext, to my knowledge.

I have a device here with which I can reproduce this issue, so I don't need
your backup file. Thank you for offering though.
