Yes, it is an euro sign. 100 EUR.

Maybe 100 ? is not very much but due to the fact that this is a serious
bug which should be corrected anyway this money is intended as a small
incentive.
100 what? Perhaps the currency character didn't come through right. It's
supposed to be a Euro sign. (about $130, £85)
For those interested in tackling this bug, there are notes in the TODO file:
Interesting, shouldn't all data out of barry towards the rest of the
system by converted to UTF-8? There is little point is perpetuating
archaic character encodings that other systems need to then deal with,
especially if the discretionary layer is able to understand and convert
it.
