I'm using a different laptop right now. Most likely, this is just a case of bad house keeping. I've already deleted any 32bit builds under /usr/local/lib and /usr/local/bin. The time stamps were 5+ months old. I can pursue snooping a VMWare connection using linux as soon as time permits. Any instructions or pointers to docs would be appreciated.
