I'm using a different laptop right now.  Most likely, this is just a case of 
bad house keeping.  I've already deleted any 32bit builds under /usr/local/lib 
and /usr/local/bin.  The time stamps were 5+ months old.

Don't think this is an issue.

I did notice that the 9530 has 5 more databases than the 8830.

The only pc that I have BB DM loaded on has vista.  I don't know if usbsnoop 
and others work on vista.

I can pursue snooping a VMWare connection using linux as soon as time permits.  
Any instructions or pointers to docs would be appreciated.  I'm in a bit of a 
time crunch for the next week or so.
