I'm sure Andy Herkey has a plan, and this email is not meant to interfere with that. :-) I just need some background info. I looked back at some of your emails from 2008, and from what I gather, this is a ATT Bold device, which is BES'd, and which works when tethering from Windows. It also used to work on a previous Ubuntu install (8.10? or 8.04?) with an unknown version of Barry. Currently you are using Ubuntu 8.10 and Barry 0.15-0git20081127 from the PPA. Is this a correct summary? Could you post a detailed list of the Windows configuration settings? Other emails indicate you're using some ATT software, but I'm hoping there are settings visible in the network config dialogs somewhere. Thanks, - Chris P.S. If you guys could trim the quoted text a bit, that would be great. :-) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Open Source Business Conference (OSBC), March 24-25, 2009, San Francisco, CA -OSBC tackles the biggest issue in open source: Open Sourcing the Enterprise -Strategies to boost innovation and cut costs with open source participation -Receive a $600 discount off the registration fee with the source code: SFAD http://p.sf.net/sfu/XcvMzF8H _______________________________________________ Barry-devel mailing list Barry-devel@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/barry-devel
