I was missing gettext-devel (yum brought in gettext-lib). The barry
build now works.

I do have the kde3 libraries.

I executed the svn for kdepim, and that worked.

I re-ran the two builds, adding kdepim to the opensync build script and
the two builds appear to work. Should I need to do anything specific
for kdepim?

So far, I tried bidentify and it recognizes my BB Curve connected to USB.

I seems to be at the point to try to set up the sync for the barry
plugin and kdepim, but I need to be pointed to specific
instructions/documentation on osynctool. Chris mentioned the "usual"
osynctool commands, but I need to understand what I'm doing with the
commands.

So far so good.
