Hi,
I installed barry 0.162009100312-0git1 taken from
http://ppa.launchpad.net/doctormo/barry-snapshot/ubuntu, installed with
synaptic on ubuntu 9.04 on intel 32bit.
When I perform the backup of my blackbarry 8800 I get the following
error:
Backup error: Desktop: database name not found: Email Settings - 166
Note: in the backup configuration "Email Settings" is not selected.
then another message is shown:
Warning
Not all records were processed on device:mydevicenumber (BB Mobile)
Only 720 of 2415 records were backed up.
It is suspected that due to international characters in these records,
the BlackBerry uses a different low-level protocol, which Barry Backup
does not yet support. Please contact the developers at
http://netdirect.ca/barry if you want to assist in debugging this issue.
If I select the "Email Settings" then the backup is completed without
errors.
The first error sounds to me like the db "Email Settings" is missing on
the device, but the behavior seems to be different.
