Hello Chris,
So I've been granted co-maintainership of the barry packages for fedora.
I'm not sure if you remember the udev issue to get permissions working on
F12 but the regular maintainer has been swamped and hasn't been able to
update, so I'm attempting that. The version previously in Fedora was a git
snapshot 0.15...20090630. I wasn't sure if 0.16 had the udev fix in it and
so took a snapshot from yesterday's git. It seems to work well for me on my
F12 setup.
So....
I'm just wondering if 0.16 had the fix and I should just use that instead of
a git snapshot, or any other reason to use one version over another.
I also tested barrybackup and got a message about it not transferring all
the records and something about a different international characters in the
records... and to contact you if we want to assist in debugging the issue..
This is a new message from any previous version so I'm wondering what
changed...
Thanks,
Nathanael
