With your data set, yes, it would be exceedingly huge. :-)

If you have a device with only a few records that displays the same
behaviour, that would help trim it down.

Alternatively, you could try to figure out the steps to add a record
to your Blackberry, that makes the -t number go up, but not the
record count at the end.  If you find a way to create such a record
and document it, maybe I can reproduce the issue here.  This is more
guesswork than science, and might take a lot of fruitless typing on your
Blackberry, but if you find a way to do it, it would help narrow things down.
