yeah, I had found that a little bit ago. Should have googled before i asked.
Anyway, it was a permissions issue, so that solved it. Needed to chown that
directory and also fix the setting in the mailscanner.conf. Is there a way to
get baruwa or the web server to log such permission errors to make debugging a
bit easier?

Thanks again for your time. Seems like I am close to a completely working
system!

Sweet, that was the issue. LOL, guess one of my files had gotten replaced
during an upgrade or somehow wasnt transfered from the old system. Eitehr way,
woo hoo! I am though getting a 404 when i try to preview a message. No errors
showing up in the http or baruwa error logs. Even checked messages. Odd that a
404 would show without being logged. Is mod_rewrite needed? Just wondering
because of the url structure.

No that is not odd, each mailscanner child starts up its own logger,

But it does indicate what could be the issue, the logger starts up but nothing
is
logged at all.

Have you checked that mailscanner is actually processing the email, from the
logs it seems like postfix is handling the whole process.
