It is fairly simple, if you do not want to do lots of admin you can setup 
external authentication
http://www.baruwa.org/authentication.html then they can login with their mail 
username and
password. If they have more than one address you can add alias addresses to 
their accounts

You can also have customers manage their own domains, you create them a domain 
admin
account then add their domains to their accounts, when they login they will be 
presented
with info only for their own domains.
