I had installed geoip-python via apt, but have since removed and purged it. I then installed GeoIP-Python-0.2.0 . However when i attempt to setup Baruwa, it errs out with the following message:
GeoIP-Python 1.2.4 is already the active version in easy-install.pth Installed /usr/local/lib/python2.6/dist-packages/GeoIP_Python-1.2.4-py2.6-linux-i686.egg error: Could not find required distribution GeoIP How can I get rid of version 1.2.4, and correctly install v 2 from source? _______________________________________________ Baruwa mailing list [email protected] http://lists.baruwa.org/mailman/listinfo/baruwa
