Fixed:

I had to create /etc/default/celeryd, with these settings:

# Name of nodes to start
CELERYD_NODES="$(hostname -s)"

# Where to chdir at start.
CELERYD_CHDIR="/usr/local/lib64/python2.6/site-packages/baruwa-1.1.1-py2.6.egg/baruwa"

# Extra arguments to celeryd
CELERYD_OPTS="--time-limit=300 --concurrency=8"
# Name of the celery config module.
CELERY_CONFIG_MODULE="celeryconfig"

# %n will be replaced with the nodename.
CELERYD_LOG_FILE=/var/log/baruwa/celeryd.log
CELERYD_PID_FILE=/var/run/baruwa/celeryd.pid

# Workers should run as an unprivileged user.
CELERYD_USER="celeryd"
CELERYD_GROUP="celeryd"

# Baruwa Celery worker daemon configuration
export DJANGO_SETTINGS_MODULE="settings"
CELERYD="/usr/local/lib64/python2.6/site-packages/baruwa-1.1.1-py2.6.egg/baruwa/manage.py
 celeryd_detach"
