I removed all configs in /etc/exim4 and ran reconfigure (I chose no
config). I re-ran Jermey's script to generate the new configs and added
the relay lines in exim.conf. Here is the error I receive now:

You have an incorrect configuration you are using the split configuration
provided by
debian/ubuntu. please use the monolithic configuration a sample of which is
provided
you just need to clean it up as its for centos.
