Please check out the most recent version of pyparsing. Version 2.0.1 should be compatible with Python versions 2.6, 2.7, and 3.x. I have backed out the 3.x-only feature (the use of "nonlocal") and replaced it with a suitable workaround that is cross Python version compatible. If you use the '<<' operator and are getting deprecation warnings, these will be removed in version 2.0.2 (I'm not going to deprecate '<<' after all, it turns out).
