Hello all,
> Ok, I thought about this and I came up with some kind of a solution. We would be also interested in this. We at CSC in Finland are developing a DNA microarray analysis tool (called Chipster), with a usability oriented approach. Our tool is purely an analysis package, but having integration into a data repository such as BASE 2 would be great. However doing any sort web scraping does not look like an appealing option for us. I chatted with Philippe Rocca-Serra at MGED10 and he told that you are working with a Web Service based approach. That would be the preferred method for us. We would be interested in fetching normalised and/or raw data out of the repository and possibly also storing analysis results into BASE. So, I would be glad to hear about the current state of the WS development, and if other robust access methods exist. Best regards, -- Aleksi Kallio, Application Architect, Software Engineering P.O.
