Hi,

I am running BASE 2.4.6 on my development machine (which runs XP) under Tomcat 
6.0.14 and Java 1.5.0_06, and it hasn't given me any grief so far. 

What version of Java are you running? Java 6 is not supported as far as I am 
aware -- perhaps that is the problem.
