NASA Ames Research Center Hanger 1 Workshop Thursday 18 August 2005 Informational Poster Session 5-6:30pm Alternatives Workshop 6:30-8:30pm at NASA Ames Research Center building 943 (located just outside the NASA Ames main gate on Moffett Blvd) You are invited to attend an informational poster session and workshop to discuss alternatives for cleaning up historic Hanger 1 at NASA Ames Research Center. These alternatives could have an adverse effect on the historic characteristics of Hanger 1. This is another opportunity to obtain more information, provide comments to the Navy and learn how the Navy will determine the best environmental actions for the Hanger, which is a source of PCB's to the environment. The Navy is evaluating alternatives for addressing cleanup at Hanger 1 in an Engineering Evaluation / Cost Analysis. NASA is working on several projects to mitigate potential impacts to the historic characteristics of Hanger 1. If you have any questions about NASA's actions to comply with the National Historic Preservation Act, please contact: Sandy Olliges, Deputy Director Safety, Environmental and Mission Assurance Office NASA Ames Research Center (650) 604-3355 [EMAIL PROTECTED]
