Julie reminded us that ‘Tapestry & Talent’ is this weekend and we should attend it

It was also announced that there are fanzines - so take them

Reviews:
‘Brothers Grimm’ was reviewed as don’t take small kids to it; it was visually stunning but had a muddled & disjointed plot; worth matinee

Julie reviewed the Rasselon meeting as the new episodes look interesting but she doesn’t like the new Tardis design & worth seeing it when you are able to so do

Dave C reviewed the Ultraman festival at the Castro Theatre - as he learned way too many Ultraman fasts for his peace of mind & rates it as worth full price

Mike couldn’t remember his review

Nathan reviewed the Santa Clara Toy Show as getting there early is a must, there were lots of fannish goodies there - many of which he bought & worth full price; Julie follow-on’d that she meant to go there but was sucked into a computer surplus sale instead

Trey reviewed ‘Saint Vidicon to the Rescue’ as a book he read ‘so you don’t have to’ & that it had some rough edges - worth library

Nathan admitted he likes the new Battlestar Galactica; Dierdre says it is well-written & Rick also likes the writing

Dave C reviewed ‘Point of Honor’ by Madeleine Robbins as pretty good & worth new pb

Rick reviewed Glasgow cuisine as wild & wonderful - especially if you like everything fried & he survived eating haggis - it was worth every pound

We auctioned off stuff = a Grinch musical stocking for $2.00 & a calendar for $0.50

We adjourned at = 8:47 pm

And the rumor of the week was ‘that Chris Garcia will exact a terrible revenge on himself for making his own enemy’s list for 2 weeks straight’
