Began at 8:01 pm - as folks outside slavered to set up the polls

Secretary’s report: the minutes of meeting 797 were accepted as ‘speeded up’
No Treasurer [week 4] but the proxy report was that last week we took in
$36.45 in the regular jar & $5.75 in the party jar
VP reports = neither VP was in attendance
The President reported that he had nothing fannish to report
Announcements:
Joni announced that she will be absent several weeks due to jaw surgery
& that if you want to contact her, her email addy is current
Reviews:
Dave C reviewed BASCon as it went much as slash fiction cons usually go
for him [he’s not really into the genre] & was worth pre-reg - & that
the photo caption contest frightened him
Joni reviewed ‘The Rapunzel Problem’ by Vivian VanGeld as YA fiction and
an interesting little book
We adjourned at = 8:15 pm
And the rumor of the week was ‘80% of BASFA’s members are away, waiting
in line to vote at their polling places’
