Hello All:

Forgive the interrupt, but I really get mad when someone swipes from a charity. If you can help out and spread the word, please do so. This is the Bay Area Outreach & Recreation Program that provides recreational opportunities for those with physical disabilities.

For information on BORP:

For more information about Integrated Cycling:

Maybe if enough eyes are kept open, we (as in the general population we) can help nab these people. Please note that they're not asking for money, they just want to get their bikes back. Then again, I don't think that they would refuse offers of bikes or money, either.

Again, please spread the word.

Until later--

Carole

This is a recreation program for people with disabilities. Their bike rides are fun and they also get a lot of kids out on rides. If anybody sees their equipment online, please let them know. Thanks.

Chris, will you forward this on to folks as well? thanks, Kristi

I have some crummy news to share, and a favor to ask.

On Friday, we found out that BORP's storage space had been broken into and everything was taken: handcycles, tandems, tools, helmets, pumps, etc. A handful of the older bikes were found hidden in the bushes nearby, but the bulk of our equipment is gone.

There is a good chance that our bikes will start showing up for sale on Craigs List, ebay, flea markets, etc. Please keep your eyes open the next few weeks and with a bit of your good karma, we'll recover some of the equipment, even if this means having to buy it back. If you see a handcycle, trike or tandem for a REAL good price, just give me or the office a call - or purchase it if you can.

Thanks
